Time

Words fall on deaf ears... what's said; merely taken as a symphony of tunes, interwoven for mere pleasure. Words that inspire...words that reformed the world.
The need for action gives way to mere appreciation. Yeah... that's easy. Appreciate, absorb the mellow voice. Forget what it means. These are strange times...

People are but a product of their genes and external influences from the environment.

Labels Matter

Silently, i stare.
He had asked me about stress.
I had explained.

junaid. What do people mean by "I'm stressed"?
I looked up at him, from a book on my lap. I had recently written about stress so I knew enough to explain the term. I knew all the technicalities, the word-to-word definitions and the research parameters used by Lazarus and Folkman, for I had researched in detail regarding: Understanding Stress and its Components.
Sure man.
I began to explain whatever I had acquired from my research, after which he got up from the bed he was seated on, and walked out of the room leaving me with nothing but a friendly smile and a remark that inspired this post.
Wouldn't it be awesome if you actually had a degree in psychology?
A degree?
What registered was not awe nor remorse.
A thought.
There was once a time when people used to learn whatever, however and from wherever they wanted to. A time when one would claim knowledge of something, it would be considered an honest claim! What we now have is a labelled system.
This is your psychologist.
This is your flight instructor.
This is your language teacher.
Here is where you'll be seated.
Sit and learn.
Don't ask. Don't Doubt.
Today, labels matter.

Format Matters

I noticed that the books I used during my CPL/IR training, did not have a reader-friendly format. The information provided was too detailed and cramped which often resulted in nothing but cadet pilots being confused as to what was being explained.

This must not be attributed as a negative characteristic to the book itself, but should be connected to people's ability to absorb information in different formats. Some prefer lists while others would actually want to read a bulk of text.

As a regular participant in various study groups through school, college and then at Multan Flying Club, I realized people's ability to absorb information through images and lists was much more efficient than through plain text, which in turn inspired me to write short articles in the form of lists such as Understanding an Aircraft Stall and How does an Aircraft Altimeter Work?

Defeat

So.. yes junaid. You cant write about “everything”.

ASTM inspection tests on sleeping bags and webcams for quality control in pre-shipment phases by third party inspectors in China – just not my thing.
